Hire It Done, a home improvement radio show and website, will return to CBS Radio’s 97.1 The Ticket after nearly 10 years beginning this Saturday morning.
“I’m very excited to return to the Detroit area radio scene,” says Adam Helfman, creator and host of Hire It Done. “I’ve always tried my best to help our listeners and customers and provide them with the best possible solutions and advice to their home improvement needs and this show on 97.1 The Ticket will be no different.”
Helfman says the show, which runs from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. every Saturday, will include call-in questions from listeners, interviews with guests, and some sports talk.
Helfman, a resident of Bloomfield Hills, was a builder and construction consultant on ABC’s Extreme Makeover Home Edition, and a radio host on channels such as WRIF 101.1 and ESPN Radio. He previously hosted Hire It Done on CBS Radio from 2005 to 2006. Helfman received his degree in building construction management from Michigan State University.
The website Hire It Done, launched in 2005, is a free online tool used by homeowners to secure the best bid possible on building and repair jobs. On the website, homeowners can ask questions, watch videos, and find pre-screened contractors.
