Just in time for metro Detroit’s unofficial Major League Baseball Opening Day holiday, the Coppercraft Distillery of Holland and the Detroit Tigers have signed a multi-year sponsorship deal that includes naming rights of Comerica Park’s right field bar and other signage.

The Coppercraft Distillery Bar, located on the Pepsi Porch in right field, offers a view of the on-field action and has outdoor lounge seating, fire features, and a number of high-definition televisions. Coppercraft Distillery signs also are featured at the ballpark’s Bourbon Bar.

“This agreement advances our long-term growth strategy, which includes expanding awareness of the Coppercraft brand throughout the Detroit metropolitan area and the state of Michigan,” says Brandon Joldersma, director of sales for Coppercraft Distillery.

Founded in Holland in 2012 as one of the state’s first licensed distillers, Coppercraft has won awards at spirits competitions locally and in New York. The company operates a full-service restaurant and bar in its hometown, a tasting room in Saugatuck, and sells its products at more than 260 retail locations across metro Detroit.
