Holland Mich.-based JR Automation Acquires Utah’s Setpoint Systems and Setpoint Inc.

JR Automation, a Holland, Mich.-based provider of intelligent automated manufacturing and distribution technology solutions, Wednesday announced it has acquired Utah-based Setpoint Systems and Setpoint Inc. Both companies create automation solutions for e-commerce, amusement, and other industries.

JR Automation was established in 1980 and serves industries including automotive, life sciences, and aerospace. Setpoint Systems is a lean automation engineering company that specializes in design, build, and controls programming of turn-key custom automation solutions. Setpoint Inc. designs and implements motion control systems, including custom rides and attractions for top amusement and theme parks in the world.
