Jack Entertainment, a Detroit-based gaming company, has announced the transition from Greektown Casino-Hotel to Jack Detroit Casino-Hotel will be completed by May 2018. Upon completion, the casino will offer new dining and entertainment experiences.

The building’s new exterior sign will be raised on Sept. 30. In turn, the casino will undergo both interior and exterior renovations during its transition.

Along with six new casual eateries, the casino rebranding will include a ramen noodle bar that serves traditional Japanese ramen with a Detroit culinary twist, and a new bar on the casino floor.

Jack Entertainment focuses on the development of gaming facilities, and its portfolio includes more than 13,000 gaming positions, 400,000 square feet of gaming space, 400 hotel rooms, and 35 bars and restaurants in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and Maryland.

“Detroit is Jack’s hometown, and we want to make a big splash with our new brand and the casino’s dramatically expanded new dining and entertainment offerings,” says Matt Cullen, CEO of Jack Entertainment. “Our entire team is eager to introduce all that’s new to the city and our guests.”
