Great Lakes Crossing Outlets in Auburn Hills and Twelve Oaks in Novi have a new app that will offer shoppers indoor navigation technology for finding stores and restaurants as well as delivering real-time event, sales, and promotion information.
“Today’s shoppers are all about convenience and personalization,” says Melissa Morang, marketing and sponsorship director at Great Lakes Crossing Outlets, which is owned by Bloomfield Hills-based Taubman Centers Inc., which also owns Twelve Oaks. “With our new app, we are combining tech-savvy amenities with premium retail offers to provide an unmatched, easy shopping and dining experience during the holidays and all year long.”
Morang says the app, available for both Android and iPhone platforms, allows customers to locate stores and restaurants as they shop, or plan out their shopping trip in advance as a way to navigate the mall more easily. She says the “Plan It” tool creates the best route for shopping by listing selected stores in the shortest distance from a current location.
Great Lakes Crossing Outlets has 185 outlet stores, retail locations, and restaurants. The mall also offers a 25-screen theater, an aquarium, and Legoland. Twelve Oaks features nearly 200 stores including Nordstrom, Macy’s, and Lord & Taylor.
