In an effort to offer customers more options for customized data recovery solutions, Grand Rapids-based US Signal is partnering with 365 Data Centers, a California-based data center solutions provider. Under the terms of the partnership, US Signal will make its advanced data protection services available to 365 Data Centers’ customers.

For US Signal, the relationship with 365 Data Centers offers its customers the opportunity to take advantage of secure colocation services at any of 365 Data Centers’ 13 carrier-neutral, internet exchange-friendly data centers in Tier 1 and Tier 2 markets.

365 Data Centers will also be able to leverage US Signal’s network, which is comprised of 14,000 miles of lit fiber and metro rings in 23 Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 markets.

“We couldn’t have found a better partner than 365 Data Centers to extend the availability of our colocation, data protection, and other services,” says Stephen Oyer, president of US Signal. “By combining resources, our companies will provide our customers with more options to help them meet their specific business requirements, particularly in the areas of data protection and (data recovery).”

With a total of 21 data centers between US Signal and 365 Data Centers throughout the U.S., he says both companies will be able to offer their customers a more geographically diverse choice of cold, warm, and hot backup sites for integration into their data recovery plans.

Founded in 2000, US Signal provides secure network, cloud hosting, colocation, data protection, and disaster recovery services. The company also has one of the Midwest’s largest, fully deployed networks.
