Grand Rapids’ Modustri Partners with Caterpillar to Launch New Digital Platform

Modustri, a Grand Rapids-based maker of digital analytics solutions for large-scale heavy equipment deployments, has launched a new global machine management platform with Caterpillar Inc., an Illinois-based company that designs, develops, engineers, manufactures, markets, and sells machinery, mostly for agricultural needs.

The Cat Wear Management System platform is now available at Caterpillar’s dealer network worldwide. The platform features tools to enhance a machinery dealers’ abilities to measure wear on parts, optimize machine fleets more effectively, forecast parts needs, and maximize maintenance and service performance.

“Through our joint effort with Caterpillar, we’re able to combine the power of web-based and mobile experiences with our ground-breaking hardware technology to deliver a platform that completes and amplifies wear part and machine management across the dealership,” says David Hamady, vice president of sales and marketing at Modustri.
