Gorman’s Home Furnishings and Interior Design, a Michigan-based home furnishing company, has announced that it will operate as the exclusive retailer in the state for the new Rachael Ray Home Collection.

Pieces from the line, designed by television personality, businesswoman, celebrity cook, and author Rachael Ray, are available in the company’s showrooms in Southfield, Troy, Novi, Shelby Township, and Grand Rapids.

“Rachael Ray is a trusted, proven national brand with a large, attractive audience, including our customers,” says Tom Lias, president and COO of Gorman’s. “We are confident the Rachael Ray Home Collection will appeal to those who are already familiar with her housewares and other lifestyle brands.”

Partnering with Legacy Classic Furniture, a North Carolina-based furniture supplier, and Craftmaster, a custom order upholstery company also located in North Carolina, Ray has designed three different styles for the collection — SoHo, Upstate, and Highline.

Company officials say Ray’s SoHo line features unique finishes, simple silhouettes, and functionality with a retro design. Each piece is crafted of poplar solids with tech veneers in a jazzy ash brown finish with soft gold toned custom hardware and accents.

The Upstate includes curated, Americana-styled furnishings. Pieces are finished in a conciare cherry with distressing and pewter-colored finished hardware.

Ray’s Highline collection is comprised of pieces that are crafted from hardwood solids with white oak veneers in a Greige finish and accented with custom nickel hardware.

Gorman’s, founded in 1940, has nearly 50 designers that have more than 1,000 years of combined residential and office design experience.
