Gold’s Gym has opened a new, 11,000-square-foot gym at 30730 Hoover Road in Warren that will remain open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
In addition to traditional free-weight strength training and cardio exercising, the new facility offers unlimited spin cycle, boxing, and kickboxing courses.
“It’s a privilege to open the only Gold’s Gym in Michigan,” says Donald Larson, owner and general manager. “We will offer our members a trusted experience that will motivate, inspire, and challenge them to reach their individual fitness goals in a community-friendly environment.”
According to Larson, a strength and conditioning trainer for nine years, the Warren gym features live-streamed spin cycle classes every hour, a boxing ring, and a kick boxing area with 16 individual bags as well as personal training services. The gym also offers special boxing and kickboxing classes, six days a week, for children under the age of 13.
Gold’s Gym offers two membership options. The basic membership at $30 per month, which includes unlimited access to the facility and a premium membership at $75 per month, which includes unlimited access as well as professional boxing and kickboxing instruction. The gym requires no contracts and will apply three free months to any yearly membership paid in full.
As part of its commitment to the Warren community, the Gold’s Gym is offering special discounts to first responders and hospital employees from the city of Warren, as well as faculty and students (14 years or older) from Warren schools.
Gold’s Gym also offers health benefits and rewards to participants of SilverSneakers and Blue 365. SilverSneakers is part of the Tivity Health portfolio. Blue 365 is available to certain Blue Cross Blue Shield organizations.
