The GMC brand of General Motors Co. in Detroit is introducing the “Ultimate” version of its 2023 Yukon Denali line — literally.
Called the Yukon Denali Ultimate, which goes on sale this fall, the new trim level for the sub-brand features unique exterior and interior details, “next-level” materials, “innovative” optional technologies, and “impressive” capability.
The exterior features “Vader Chrome” finish accents, along with additional Galvano appointments positioned on the front fascia. There’s also polished bright chrome along the window and door panels, and 22-inch seven-spoke ultra-bright machined wheels with bright chrome accents and dark paint.
The interior of the vehicle offers improved comfort and conveniences, such as 16-way power front seats with massage. Additionally, the 2023 Yukon Denali Ultimate debuts an advanced 18-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system, including head restraint-based speakers for front-row passengers. Etched-metal speaker grilles provide what the automaker calls “an elegant look that fits seamlessly into the premium interior of the Yukon Denali Ultimate.”
In addition to its “elevated” interior and exterior design, GMC says Yukon Denali Ultimate introduces the available “class-leading, trailering-capable Super Cruise driver assistance technology to Yukon, including the capability to automatically change lanes or tow while driving hands-free on compatible roads.”
Drivers will have a choice of a standard 6.2-liter V-8 or optional Duramax 3.0-liter Turbo-Diesel. Both engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Magnetic Ride Control is standard, as is Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, Active Response 4WD system with electronic limited-slip differential, and Auto Track two-speed transfer case.
Pricing information will be announced this summer, and dealer availability will be in the fall.
