With media coverage this week that the cryptocurrency exchange FTX has filed for bankruptcy, along with reports that up to $1 billion in client funds are unaccounted for, a criminal probe is under way in the Bahamas while the Senate Banking Committee has called for FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried to appear before lawmakers.
