Compuware’s Professional Services division has been acquired by Hermosa Beach, Calif.-based Marlin Equity Partners, and as of Monday, is now operating as a standalone enterprise called CW Professional Services.

“While some things are changing — such as our name and logo — the critical components of our business are not, including our people, our locations, and our continued commitment to customer service, excellence, and innovation,” says Marj Kozlowski, president of CW Professional Services, which will continue to be headquartered in the Compuware Building in downtown Detroit.

The technology services company works in enterprise mobility by assisting customers with machine-to-machine transactions, along with vehicle-to-vehicle technology, Kozlowski says. She adds that the company will unveil a new, permanent brand identity as the firm evolves over the coming months.

CW Professional Services has provided technology solutions for 46 of the top 50 Fortune 500 companies and 12 of the top 20 most visited U.S. websites, company officials say.

“We have had a tremendous partnership over the years, and I look forward to continuing our work together as we transform Dole’s mobile technology vision in the future,” says Trever Scott, senior director of IT for North America at Dole Fresh Fruit in Los Angeles.

CW Professional Services offers:

  • Enterprise Mobility – transforming businesses across industries such as food, manufacturing, and transportation by applying mobile technology to solve business challenges and capture new opportunities.
  • Enabling the ‘Internet of Things’ – building the vision and infrastructure that has helped our customers support nearly one billion machine-to-machine transactions to date while transforming data into insights and enterprise action.
  • Pioneering the ‘Connected Car’ – connecting more than 20 million vehicles to date, and turning the connections into information that allows engineers and marketers to improve both their products and customer experience.
