The fast-casual, Birmingham-based restaurant Beyond Juicery and Eatery, along with the educational game outlet, Marbles: The Brain Store, will both open next week at the Somerset Collection in Troy.
βWe are particularly proud to have a locally-owned business (Beyond Juicery and Eatery) opening at Somerset Collection that has demonstrated a dedication to providing such a high standard of food and beverages,β says Nate Forbes, managing partner of Southfield-based The Forbes Co., which owns Somerset Collection.
Forbes says the 1,500-square-foot restaurant, to be located on the first floor of Somerset Collection North, will offer dine-in and carryout options, including made-to-order juices and smoothies, along with wraps, salads, and bowls. Birminghamβs Ron and Roman designed the space.
Beyond Juicery and Eatery first opened in Birmingham in 2005. The restaurant has expanded with the addition of a location in Southfield, and another is planned for Detroitβs Eastern Market.
βBeyond Juicery made the decision to expand to Somerset Collection because we believe this location provides a fantastic opportunity to expand our brand recognition β Somerset attracts visitors from all over the world,β says Mijo Alanis, owner of Beyond Juicery and Eatery. βAdditionally, weβve had numerous guests who visit our flagship store in Birmingham request that we open at Somerset Collection.β
Marbles: The Brain Store, an outlet specializing in educational games and activities, will be located on level three of Somerset Collection North.
βWe are proud to add Marbles to our portfolio of national retailers that Somerset Collection has introduced to the Michigan market,β Forbes says.
Forbes says Somerset Collection is Marblesβ ninth storefront to open this year, with 50 more stores scheduled to open in the next three years.
Both stores will open on Nov. 21.
