The Ford Fireworks over the Detroit River, recognized as one of the largest and most dramatic shows of its kind in America, will take place on June 23 at 10 p.m.

Produced by The Parade Co., the Ford Fireworks will light up the Detroit skyline for 24 minutes. Every year, the show attracts hundreds of thousands of spectators to downtown Detroit.

“The Ford Fireworks is one of the most celebrated shows in America, and we are elated to bring Detroit and well beyond this spectacular summer fireworks display,” says Tony Michaels, president and CEO of The Parade Co.

“We are honored to work with the remarkable team at Ford Motor Co. to bring the people of Detroit and our region this world-class event for the 67th year.”

As producers of the Ford Fireworks, The Parade Co. selects the musical arrangement and works exclusively with Zambelli Fireworks to create the world-class display made up of more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects that are visible for miles along the Detroit River.

This year’s show — themed “Detroit Summer Vibes! Bring ‘Em On!” — is free and open to the public with views from Hart Plaza, Belle Isle, and beyond.

“Ford is proud to be a longtime partner of The Parade Co., and to support one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in the country,” says Mary Culler, president of Ford Philanthropy. “We look forward to bringing everyone together to celebrate and honor America, our great city, and the people and communities that make Detroit so special.”

Limited tables and tickets are available for the Ford Fireworks Rooftop Fundraiser presented by Ford Motor Co., which offers prime seats atop a parking deck just west of the Renaissance Center to view the fireworks. Guests will enjoy live music from Your Generation in Concert, catering by Andiamo, games, giveaways, and more.
