Recognized as one of the country’s largest and most magnificent fireworks displays, the Ford Fireworks, produced by The Parade Co., is set to light up Detroit’s skyline on Monday, June 24 at 9:55 p.m.

“The Parade Co. is gearing up for a spectacular fireworks show with more dynamic effects and brilliant colors than ever before,” says Tony Michaels, president and CEO of The Parade Company. “We are incredibly appreciative of Ford Motor Co.’s continued commitment to this annual event and for all they do in our community. Ford, along with all of our many generous sponsors, help to keep this tradition alive for our great city to enjoy.”

Ford has been the title sponsor of the Ford Fireworks and presenting sponsor of The Parade Co.’s Rooftop Party since 2013.

“Ford has a long history of supporting local traditions that bring Detroiters together, and we are proud to have the Ford name on this great fireworks display put on by The Parade Co.,” says Jim Vella, president of the Ford Motor Co. Fund, the automaker’s philanthropic arm. “As one of the city’s premier community events, the Ford Fireworks gives people of all ages and backgrounds the opportunity to celebrate our independence and honor those who have fought for our freedom.”

The Parade Co. selects the musical arrangement and works with Zambelli Fireworks to stage more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects visible for miles along the Detroit River. Marking its 61st year, this year’s show is themed “Detroit. Ready! Set! Go!!”

The Ford Fireworks Rooftop Party is one of The Parade Co.’s largest and most popular annual fundraisers.
