Ford Motor Co. today introduced the F-150 Limited, a luxury truck equipped with 22-inch aluminum wheels, a satin-chrome grille, and Mojave leather seating, among other offerings.

“We’re adding segment-exclusive technology and features that improve productivity, convenience, and capability with distinctive style,” says Raj Nair, group vice president of global product development at Ford.

Nair says the 2016 Ford F-150 Limited offers raised dimensional lettering on the hood, a chrome front bumper that has body-color end caps, and bright belt moldings. The truck comes in “shadow black, magnetic, blue jeans, and white platinum metallic tri-coat.”

He says the interior features heated and cooled black and Mojave leather seats that have 10-way power adjustment and multi-contour massaging seats. The rear seats are also heated. The truck also offers SYNC 3, Ford’s communications and entertainment system that has enhanced voice recognition and a touch screen.

In addition, the F-150 Limited includes a Sony 10-speaker sound system with HD Radio, 360-degree camera system, LED side-mirror spotlight, and a remote tailgate release.

The F-150 Limited will offer a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which allows for towing up to 10,100 pounds. The truck produces 365 horsepower and 420 pounds per feet of torque.

The Limited edition goes on sale this winter. Pricing will be announced in the coming months.
