Dearborn-based Ford Motor Co. now offers a performance kit for the 2015 Focus ST that increases output to 275 horsepower and generates nearly 300 pounds per feet of torque.

"The 2015 Focus ST MP275 upgrade is the latest addition to Ford Performance's vast Focus and Fiesta performance catalog that gives enthusiasts the components they need to take their car to the next level," says Adam Gair, product manager of Ford Performance.

Gair says the engine control unit offers a quicker throttle response, with horsepower increasing from 252 to 275. The two-liter, four-cylinder engine produces 296 pounds per feet of torque with 93-octane fuel.

A Ford technician must install the parts, so the vehicle retains its factory warranty. The upgrade package includes an induction kit, a high-flow intercooler, a mTune handset, and all installation hardware. The kit retails for about $1,900.

"The new Mopar Service Capacity Analyzer offers dealerships a 'road map' to more efficiently utilize these resources by forecasting customer needs out to 2018 based on dealer-specific parameters," says Pietro Gorlier, president and CEO of Mopar brand service, parts, and customer care for FCA.

The Mopar Service Capacity Analyzer allows dealers to adjust the number of technicians and service advisors, technician available hours, and stall numbers to match projected service lane traffic. Dealerships can also examine operational efficiency and identify opportunities for improving existing processes.
