Forbes announced its 2022 Under 30 Summit, presented by Rocket Mortgage, will take place Oct. 2-5 at the historic Detroit Opera House and virtually, convening more than 2,500 young leaders and entrepreneurs who are paving the path forward in their respective fields.
The Under 30 Summit is an immersive experience featuring a private concert, prominent speakers, networking opportunities, industry-focused excursions, local culinary experiences, a bar crawl, a day of community service, and more.
“The Under 30 Summit will bring over 2,500 participants back to Detroit for the third year to celebrate Under 30 list makers both past and present who have made positive and impactful contributions to business and the world around them,” says Randall Lane, chief content officer at Forbes and founder of the Under 30 Summit.
“The event is uniquely designed as an immersive experience to ensure these young entrepreneurs, leaders and innovators have the opportunity to discover, interact, and give back.”
The 2022 summit will feature a headlining fireside chat with Grammy award-winning musician, entrepreneur, and philanthropist Megan Thee Stallion on Tuesday, with the Houston native also guest hosting the closing ceremony later that evening.
The 2022 Summit will kick-off with The Under 30 Music Festival on Sunday evening with Blu DeTiger, singer-songwriter, bass player, record producer, and DJ, opening for the headliner, which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Monday will consist of a day of programming, Under 30 Lister round table conversations, and an attendee-only Under 30 Bar Crawl. Tuesday morning will begin with rooftop yoga in collaboration with the Kyiv-based fitness app BetterMe, cofounded by an Under 30 list maker, Victoria Repa. There is a fee to join this activity and all proceeds from the class will go to United24, a global initiative to support Ukraine.
The Summit will close out on Wednesday with service day dedicated to giving back and leaving an impact on the city of Detroit.
