PGA Tour Superstore, the Atlanta-based golf equipment, accessories, and apparel outlet, will open its first Michigan store at 9 a.m. on July 27 at 21061 Haggerty Road in Novi (just north of Eight Mile Road).

The store will offer customers a large variety and selection of apparel for men, women, and juniors, in addition to the latest golf equipment and accessories. The store also will sell tennis and pickleball equipment and apparel.

“Our customer-experience mentality is unmatched in the golf specialty retail business,” says Jill Spiegel, president of PGA Tou Superstore. “Combine that with our professional expertise, interactive environment, and everything needed to play, we inspire beginners to avid golfers to have fun and enjoy the game.”

The 42,000-square-foot facility will feature four Practice and Play hitting bays in a social setting where friends and families can play together. Guests also can test putters and practice putting on the 1,333-square-foot putting green.

The experiential retailer offers club fitting and lessons from certified teaching professionals, as well as on-site club regripping, repairs, and shaft adjustments.

“Michigan is one of the leading golf destinations in the country and as a Detroit native, I’m thrilled we are about to be a part of this special community,” Spiegel adds.

Kurt Sager, general manager of the Novi PGA Tour Superstore, says, “Metro Detroit is home to more than 75 golf courses and the enthusiasm for the game shows with rounds played up in this area up nearly 97 percent this year. We are eager to open our doors and look forward to welcoming Detroiters this summer.”
