Ferndale’s Bollinger Motors has announced a suggested retail price of $125,000 for its Bollinger B1 Sport Utility Truck and the B2 Pickup Truck, both all-electric, all-wheel-drive vehicles.

The trucks will feature a 120-kilowatt-hour battery pack, a 200-mile range, patent-pending storage options, dual motors, in-wheel portal gear hubs, a 5,000-pound payload capacity, and 15-inch ground clearance. They will have 10-hour level two (220-volt) charging time and 75-minute level three (DC fast) charging time.

“We’re going to production with all of the components and features our team developed from the start; we’re staying true to our DNA,” says Robert Bollinger, founder of Bollinger Motors. “Our trucks deliver a level of performance unlike anything on the market or coming to market.”

Targeting low-volume production, Bollinger Motors will build both trucks in the U.S. Production is expected to start in 2020 with first deliveries slated for 2021. The trucks will be sold and serviced through independent dealers throughout the U.S. and globally.

The trucks will feature pass-through doors in the dashboard to accommodate the hauling of longer items. The trucks also offer removable roof panels, doors, windows, and windshields.

Bollinger Motors is now accepting $1,000 refundable deposits.
