FCA US will release a limited edition Ram Rebel pickup truck that can be customized with performance parts and accessories from its Mopar brand. The vehicle has a suggested retail price starting at $52,460, and will arrive at select dealerships this summer.

The Mopar ’16 Ram Rebel — only 500 vehicles will be made available — marks the first limited-edition Mopar-modified vehicle for the truck segment.

“The new Ram Rebel has been a solid addition to the Ram lineup, providing customers with a truck that can deliver the added capability that their active lifestyles demand,” says Mike Manley, head of Ram Brand at FCA Global. “The Mopar ’16 content illustrates how customers can easily personalize a Ram truck with factory backed accessories.”

A customizable Mopar package will be available for the limited-edition vehicle that includes an aluminum, dual bezel sport embellished performance hood; off-road wheel flares; graphic stripe accents; a skid plate to guard the power steering box; 17-inch satin black wheels; a glove box badge; and stainless steel door sill guards.

Additional parts and accessories are available at the dealership for those who want to further personalize the vehicle.

“The already formidable Ram 1500 Rebel is a perfect canvas for unique Mopar accessories and performance parts developed to reinforce the rugged personality of the Rebel,” says Pietro Gorlier, head of parts and service for Mopar at FCA Global.

Factory features of the Mopar Ram include a 5.7-liter HEMI engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission; a transfer case and front suspension skid plates; black tubular side steps; spray-on bedliner; and a tri-fold cover with the Ram logo.

The vehicle, which is being manufactured at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant, will be available in a red and black two-tone or black monotone.
