KSI Kitchen & Bath, a kitchen and bath design firm in Farmington Hills, has acquired Henderson Glass, a Rochester Hills-based flat glass service company with six locations across the state. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
KSI acquired Henderson Glass and its flat glass business from Safelite Auto Glass. The acquisition should position KSI Kitchen & Bath as Michigan’s largest provider of kitchen and bath design, cabinetry, and flat glass services.
“KSI’s investment will allow us to focus on growing our flat glass business, from residential offerings – such as shower doors, mirrors, window glass replacement, and custom glass – to commercial services such as storefront systems and emergency repairs,” says Vince Moynihan, general manager of Henderson Glass.
“I’m confident that the sale of Henderson Glass to KSI sets up our employees, customers, and vendors with the best opportunity for continued growth and success.”
Moynihan will continue to lead the company under KSI. Henderson Glass has more than a century of experience in providing residential and commercial glass service.
“We are so excited to welcome Henderson Glass into the KSI family of brands,” says Tony Achatz, president and CEO of KSI. “Their commitment to outstanding glass service and customer satisfaction is a perfect fit for KSI and our vision — to be the most recommended provider for creating spaces in the home that people will love.”
