Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg will discuss changing trends in marketing and advertising at a breakfast event hosted by the Adcraft Club of Detroit on May 2.
In addition to overseeing Facebook’s business operations, Sandberg is author of Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead, and founder of LeanIn.org, a global community supporting women who pursue their ambitions.
“Sheryl’s work is impacting people all over the world, and we’re excited to provide our members the opportunity to learn from her directly,” says Ron Boe, president of the Adcraft Club and vice president of national accounts for Auto Trader.
Following Sandberg, the Adcraft Club will present national television host and health expert Mehmet Oz, better known as Dr. Oz, will speak about his latest venture, The Good Life magazine, on May 19. Josh Linker , CEO and managing partner of Detroit Venture Partners, and author of The Road to Reinvention and Disciplined Dreaming, will address the club on June 5.
Tickets for the Sandberg event, to be held at the San Marino Club in Troy, are $25 for members, $35 for non-members, and $15 for student and junior members. Parties of four or more will receive reserved seating. Full tables seat 10 people.
