Detroit-native Diana Ross, a founding member and former lead singer of The Supremes, will perform at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre on June 13, kicking off the summer season for the Sterling Heights venue.
“We’re thrilled to have one of the greatest Motown singers of all time, Diana Ross, open our facility this season,” says Tom Celani, owner of Luna Hillside LLC. “We continue to bring big name talent to our venue and know fans will have a memorable time at this concert and throughout the 2014 season.
In 1993, Ross, who claims 70 hit singles and has sold more than 100 million records worldwide both from her solo work as well as with The Supremes, was deemed the most successful female music artist in history by the Guinness Book of World Records.
