Southfield-based Etkin announced Wednesday plans for an office development at the northeast corner of Seven Mile Road and Victor Parkway in Livonia. Located near numerous corporate headquarters, stores, and restaurants, approvals are in place to build on a fast-track construction schedule.
Called Victor East, the 54,000-square-foot building is “is ideal for many mid-size suppliers who want to locate at the epicenter of the world’s major automotive manufacturers,” said Josh A. Suardini, an Etkin vice president, adding the area also is popular with health care providers and suppliers.
The building’s current design may be modified to accommodate a major tenant, Suardini said. Available features include distinctive architectural elements, energy efficient lighting and HVAC system, signage opportunities, clear height ceilings of 13-plus feet, a screened loading area with overhead doors per tenant requirements, and a U-shaped design to maximize outdoor views.
Nearby restaurants include PF Chang’s China Bistro, Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar, Mitchell’s Fish Market, Andiamo, J. Alexander’s, Sweet Lorraine’s, Max & Erma’s, Champps Americana, California Pizza Kitchen, and Gaucho Steakhouse.
The project’s construction start date will be based on the outcome of pre-leasing initiatives, Suardini said.
