Detroit-based General Motors Co.’s Cadillac and national bank JP Morgan Chase in New York have signed on as premier partners of the inaugural Rocket Mortgage Classic.

As premier partners, Cadillac and JP Morgan Chase have made multi-year commitments that include significant branding on-course, along with opportunities to entertain key clients, prospects, and employees. These partners enjoy exclusive access to the iconic clubhouse at the Detroit Golf Club, along with access to private hospitality venues overlooking the 18th hole.

Amerisure, CDW, Delta Dental, DTE Energy, LendingTree, Michelob Ultra, and Trion Solutions are among the companies that have agreed to become official partners of the classic.

“The support of the local business community is a huge factor in the success of any PGA Tour event. The overwhelming demand amongst corporations – both big and small – is indicative of Detroit’s growing reputation as a thriving and growing business hub,” says Jason Langwell, executive director of the Rocket Mortgage Classic.

Cadillac, founded in Detroit in 1902 and currently headquartered in Warren, will serve as the official automotive partner of the classic. In addition to providing courtesy cars for players and staff, the company will have naming rights to the Cadillac Club, an exclusive VIP pool deck area adjacent to the Detroit Golf Club’s historic clubhouse and the 18th green. VIP parking and valet services will also be branded under the Cadillac name.

JP Morgan Chase’s Chase Sapphire card has been designated as the official credit card of the Rocket Mortgage Classic. The brand will have naming rights to the Chase Sapphire Club, an exclusive private hospitality venue overlooking the 14th green. The company will also sponsor Chase Live, which presents live entertainment experiences on Friday and Saturday of tournament week after the play on the course concludes.

The Rocket Mortgage Classic is scheduled for June 25-30 and will feature 156 of the world’s top players competing for $7.3 million over four days and 72 holes. The week-long event will also feature great entertainment, cuisine and social activities on and off the course.

The Rocket Giving Fund is the primary charitable beneficiary of the tournament. In late 2015, Detroit-based Quicken Loans introduced Rocket Mortgage, the first fully digital mortgage experience. The company closed nearly half a trillion dollars of mortgage volume across all 50 states from 2013-2018. Today, 98 percent of all home loans originated by Quicken Loans use Rocket Mortgage Technology.

Quicken Loans moved its headquarters to downtown Detroit in 2010. Today, Quicken Loans and its family of companies employ more than 17,000 full-time team members in Detroit’s urban core. Quicken Loans also operates a centralized loan processing facility in Detroit.
