Detroit’s football team may not be heading to the Super Bowl in New Orleans, but Little Caesars, the world’s third-largest pizza chain and the official pizza sponsor of the NFL, is with a new commercial.

The pizza company made its first Super Bowl appearance in 2020. The return engagement marks the beginning of a multi-channel campaign the company states will “capture the hearts and taste buds of NFL and Little Caesars fans alike, extending well into March.”

The 30-second spot, set to air during Super Bowl on Sun., Feb. 9, is expected to feature a blend of humor, creativity, and “mouthwatering pizza-inspired fun.” The company teases that viewers might even catch a glimpse of something new making its way to the menu.

“We are ecstatic to return to the Super Bowl and are excited to deliver more than just delicious pizza,” says Greg Hamilton, chief marketing officer at Little Caesars. “This year’s commercial highlights what makes Little Caesars unique in a bold, crazy-fun way, and captures the kind of energy we love to share with our fans.  Plus, there might be something new and exciting to reveal about our hottest product, Crazy Puffs, during Super Bowl LIX week.”

Little Caesars is in its third year as the official pizza sponsor of the NFL. The pizza company teamed up with its creative agency of record, McKinney, to develop this year’s commercial.
