On Friday, Greentown Casino-Hotel will unveil Synergy Table Games, an electronic arena style casino gaming attraction that features live DJs and entertainment, lights and music, social interaction, and large video displays. The casino says it’s the first in the world to offer such a multi-faceted gaming experience.

The Synergy space, which is located on the upper level of the casino, near the Fringe Bar, is designed to resemble a stadium with 48 connected play stations that each have a 27-inch video display screen and multi-game capability.

Created by gaming manufacturer Interblock, users of Synergy Table Games can choose from automated, video, or live dealers to play blackjack, roulette, craps, and baccarat. A video wall displays each game’s progress and statistics.

Players also have the option to game with friends while messaging one another from their electronic play station, or they can choose a solo electronic table game experience.

“Synergy is an industry game-changer,” says Jason Gregorec, CEO and general manager, of Greektown Casino-Hotel. “We are the first casino in the world to combine Interblock’s electronic table games technology with live-dealers for a brand new gaming experience.”

The addition of Synergy follows Greektown Casino-Hotel’s recently completed $70 million renovation, which included the addition of a new HVAC system, new technology and gaming options for guests, advanced LED lighting throughout the property, and upgraded interiors.

The casino-hotel employs more than 1,900 people and features 3,000 gaming machines, 70 table games, a 12-table poker room, three restaurants, five quick-serve food outlets, three bars, and a coffee shop. The casino’s 400-room hotel offers more than 10,000 square feet of meeting space.
