Detroit’s Bassett & Bassett Opens Offices in India, Lebanon as Part of Global Expansion

Detroit-based Bassett & Bassett Communication Managers and Counselors, established in 1986, today announced it has expanded globally with new offices in Pune, India and Beirut, Lebanon.

Bassett is joined in the firm by his wife, Tina Bassett (president), and daughter-in-law, Michelle Martinez-Bassett (vice president of digital media)

In addition, India native Vidya Moorthy, vice president of client services at Bassett & Bassett, is leading the firm’s Asia Pacific Operations, located in Pune, near Mumbai. Moorthy leads a staff of three professionals, along with three India-based clients.

Nasser Beydoun, former chairman of the American Arab Chamber of Commerce in Dearborn, is vice president of multicultural marketing at Bassett & Bassett and is the managing director of the Middle East region, with an office in Beirut. Beydoun was previously CEO of Qatar-based Wataniya Restaurants Inc., in which he built, opened, and operated 40 restaurants in the Middle East.

Bassett & Bassett, with its headquarters in the First National Building on Woodward Avenue in downtown Detroit, offers marketing, branding, advertising, public relations, and social media services, among other services. The company has 16 employees, and 24 contract specialists.

The firm is believed to be the only human communication behavior firm in the nation that includes Christian, Jewish, Hindu, and Muslim principals.
