Single-game tickets for the 2024 Detroit Tigers season go on sale Wednesday, Feb. 14, at 10 a.m. at tigers.com/tickets.

Opening Day is scheduled for Friday, April 5, at Comerica Park against the Oakland Athletics with the first pitch set for 1:10 p.m. To ensure as many Tigers fans as possible can experience Opening Day, fans can purchase a maximum of eight tickets per person, while supplies last.

“Opening Day in Detroit is less than 60 days away, and we’re very excited about the return of Tigers baseball,” says Ryan Gustafson, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Ilitch Sports + Entertainment. “With a great home schedule and a tremendous lineup of special events and giveaways, there will be something for everyone. We look forward to seeing our fans on Opening Day and unveiling our brand-new videoboard and additional enhanced fan experiences throughout Comerica Park.”

Detroit opens the regular season home slate against Oakland from April 5-7, and the Tigers will host the defending World Series champion Texas Rangers from April 15-18.

The St. Louis Cardinals will visit Comerica Park to wrap up April and open May (April 29-May 1), while the Toronto Blue Jays will be in Detroit over Memorial Day weekend (May 23-26).

The Tigers will host the Los Angeles Dodgers from July 12-14, and the New York Yankees will visit Comerica Park on Friday, Aug. 16 and Saturday, Aug. 17, before the Tigers and Yankees close out the series at the MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pa., on Sunday, Aug. 18.

The Boston Red Sox will visit Comerica Park for a weekend series from Aug. 30-Sept. 1. The Tigers will close out the regular season with a six-game homestand against the Tampa Bay Rays (Sept. 24-26) and Chicago White Sox (Sept. 27-29).

Jim Leyland’s Induction to National Baseball Hall of Fame will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 3 prior to the 6:10 p.m. game against the Kansas City Royals. Leyland will be inducted into the 2024 class of the National Baseball Hall of Fame on July 21 in Cooperstown, N.Y.

Leyland served as the Tigers’ skipper from 2006-13, leading Detroit to the World Series in his first season. The Tigers reached the postseason four times under Leyland’s tutelage, including three straight American League Central titles from 2011-13 and another World Series appearance in 2012.

Returning for 2024 — thanks to the commitment of Tigers corporate partners — the first 15,000 fans in attendance for every Saturday home game will receive special giveaway items as part of Giveaways on Saturdays.

Every Friday will be a “Friday Night Party in the Park” presented by Casamigos, featuring fireworks, live music, and entertainment and pregame food and beverage specials on the Comerica Landing. Chevy Sunday Kids Days are also back, where young fans can get player autographs on the concourse, run the bases after the game and enjoy free rides on the Ferris Wheel and Hi-Chew Carousel.

Long-standing special events such as Polish American Night (Friday, May 24), Pink Out the Park presented by McLaren Healthcare (Saturday, June 8), the 22nd annual Negro Leagues Weekend presented by Comerica Bank (July 12-14), Kids Club Day presented by BCBSM (Saturday, Aug. 17), and the 19th annual ¡Fiesta Tigres! presented by Miller Lite (Saturday, Sept. 14) will once again return to Comerica Park.

The Tigers are introducing several new giveaway items this season, including a Tigers hockey jersey presented by Comerica Bank on April 6, a “Pink Out the Park” jersey presented by Karmanos on June 8, an aloha shirt presented by Visit Central Florida on July 27, a “Tigres” soccer jersey presented by Miller Lite for fans 21 years of age and older on Sept. 14, and more.

Several theme games with special ticket packages that include an exclusive giveaway item are also planned, including the return of “University Nights” featuring colleges and universities throughout Michigan and the “Bark in the Park” nights.

The Tigers will welcome back the 1984 World Series championship team for its 40th anniversary on Saturday, Aug. 31, presented by Miller Lite & Bally Sports Detroit.

All Tuesday home games at Comerica Park are “313 Value Games” presented by Pepsi, with $19 lower-level tickets available, in addition to $3 bottled water and fountain drinks, $1 chips, and $3 hot dogs. The Meijer Sunday Family Value Deal starts at $79, including four upper-level tickets, four hot dogs, and four fountain drinks.
