Detroit Dispensing Solutions (DDS), a supplier of vape cartridge filling and concentrate dispensing equipment, is expanding its product line to advance its position in the cannabis equipment market.

In response to Cascade Sciences in Livonia ceasing operations, DDS is launching a new line of vacuum ovens, pumps, and cold traps — products engineered to match the quality and performance that Cascade customers have come to expect.

Recognizing the gap left by Cascade’s closure, DDS saw an opportunity to align with Cascade’s product standards and ensure customers can continue to access and maintain their equipment without disruption.

“When Cascade closed its doors, we knew the industry couldn’t afford to lose access to such high-end equipment,” says Brian Towns, newly appointed COO of DDS. “By introducing our own line of vacuum ovens, pumps, and cold traps, we’re not only expanding our product portfolio but also offering continued service and support to Cascade’s existing customer base.”

Towns previously served as general manager at Precision Extraction, Cascade Sciences, and PurePressure, all of which produce cannabis extraction and post-processing equipment.

In addition to manufacturing new DDS-branded ovens and pumps, DDS will provide ongoing service, support, and replacement parts for all existing Cascade equipment, ensuring that operators can maintain their systems without facing downtime or supply chain issues.

DDS also is expanding its portfolio by distributing Huber Temperature Control Units, adding another product line to its offering. Huber units are designed to enhance the performance and consistency of cannabis extraction and post-processing operations.
