With a dozen No. 1 hits on the country charts, Kane Brown is following in the footsteps of many other superstars by opening his own restaurant, bar, and live music venue — and Detroit-based Elia Group is helping bring it to life.

Brown is one of more than a dozen country stars, including Blake Shelton, Luke Bryan, Alan Jackson, and even Detroit’s own Kid Rock, who have flocked to Nashville’s Lower Broadway and set up shop.

Kane Brown’s on Broadway is expected to open this summer. According to multiple reports, the four-level spot will occupy 11,400 square feet and will follow a familiar pattern — offering food and drinks as well as space for live performances. The location used to be home to The Valentine, where Brown enjoyed plenty of nights earlier in his career, according to multiple reports.

“Our partnership with Kane Brown marks a defining moment for Elia Group and for the city of Nashville,” says Zaid Elia, founder and CEO of Elia Group. “He is a visionary artist who has continually redefined boundaries while remaining deeply rooted in authenticity — a philosophy that mirrors our own approach to hospitality at the highest level.

“For Elia Group, this collaboration represents the latest milestone in our longstanding and unwavering commitment to Nashville. It also underscores our sustained investment in transformative, iconic properties; in immersive, thoughtfully curated design; and in guest experiences that celebrate the city’s rich heritage while actively shaping its vibrant future.”

The Elia Group initially used the site — 312 Broadway — to hire staffers for Zuzu Nashville last May, according to a LinkedIn post. Zuzu Nashville opened last July.

Zuzu’s first location was in Detroit at 511 Woodward Ave. The Elia Group acquired the property in 2018, completing the renovation in 2020. It now houses a variety of tenants, including Capital One Financial Corp., the Capital One Café, and Zuzu Detroit.

The Elia Group also owns and operates Parc and handles food and beverage for Campus Martius Park, all in downtown Detroit, 220 Merrill in downtown Birmingham, and is a preferred developer for Starbucks.
