After selling their products at small boutiques nationwide, Michigan-based paper, textile, and home goods company June and December has announced the opening of a new brick and mortar store in Berkley. Located at 2670 Coolidge Highway, June and December will feature their collection of lifestyle and paper products, as well as a selection of other gift items, such as Michigan-based Little Flower Soap Co.
“When we searched for areas to relocate our design and production studio this summer, Berkley was a natural choice,” says Katie Forte, creative director and co-founder of June and December. “We were drawn to its small-town appeal and warm atmosphere, and felt it would be a great location to plant our roots.”
June and December’s products are also currently available on their website, in addition to their retail space.
“Our new studio provided a wonderful opportunity to open a small storefront within our studio,” adds Nick Forte, co-owner of June and December. “While it’s a small space to start, we hope to increase the size in the future as we continue to grow our business.”
June and December’s store will open Saturday, Oct. 21 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Store hours will be Monday-Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with expanded holiday hours expected soon. More information can be found here.
