Delta Hotels by Marriott has opened Delta Hotels Detroit Novi located in Farmington Hills on the border of Novi. This is Delta’s first branded hotel in Oakland County.
The hotel, located at 37529 Grand River Ave., was purchased in November 2019 and underwent a $3 million renovation over the last year. It features 139 guestrooms including suites, an indoor swimming pool, a 24-hour fitness center, complimentary Wi-Fi, and complimentary bottled water in each guest room.
It also will feature a full-service restaurant and bar, Founders Tavern, a full-service, standalone specialty coffee shop, and more than 2,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
The Delta brand is designed to be rooted in simplicity and focused on perfecting the small details that make a difference during travel including a fully stocked pantry for Marriott Bonvoy Elite members and efficient service.
“We are excited about our investment in Delta by Marriott Detroit Novi, making this our first hotel acquisition in Michigan, adding more than 60 permanent jobs, and tremendous service to the business and leisure customer,” says Martin Pakideh, principle of DG Hotels and Cicero Hospitality Group. Pakideh also owns hotels in Chicago and Palm Beach, Fla.
The hotel is owned by DG Hotels and managed by Cicero Hospitality Group. Delta was acquired by Marriott International in 2015. The brand, which has more than 80 locations across the U.S., Canada, China, the Middle East, and Europe, participates in Marriott Bonvoy, Marriott International’s travel program in which members enjoy benefits, member-only rates, status recognition, and points toward free nights.
