KLA Laboratories, an 86-year-old family-owned communications technology company based in Dearborn, announced today they will partner with Trucom, a subsidiary of TPT Global Tech based in Arizona that provides phone, Internet, fiber optic, wireless, hosted PBX, and cloud services. Terms of the agreement were not released.
The partnership will allow KLA and Trucom to expand the scope of services they provide to clients, said Matt O’Bryan, president and CEO of KLA.
“The combination of KLA and Trucom brings together two well-established communications technology firms and enhances our collective ability to bring superior service for wireless solutions to our clients,” O’Bryan said.
The partnership will also allow KLA and Trucom to offer underground fiber-optic cable, a high-speed data transmission medium, to national cellular service providers as a standalone service. Trucom has 60 miles of underground fiber-optic cables.
“The Trucom and KLA partnership provides both companies with additional technology infrastructures to enhance product offerings, and to better serve our domestic West Coast client base as well as international customers,” said Rick Eberhardt, CEO of Trucom.
Trucom provides technology solutions to business domestically and worldwide. KLA provides solutions for networks, premise cabling, in-building wireless systems, video, and sound system installations. KLA will be opening a new location is Las Vegas in June.
