DaySmart Software, a business management software company in Ann Arbor, has announced the acquisition of California-based Vetter Software, a provider of cloud-based veterinary practice management software.
The transaction will expand DaySmart’s involvement in the pet services industry. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Along with veterinarians, kennels, and groomers, DaySmart offers software solutions to tattoo, salon, and spa businesses. The company’s software offerings are designed to simplify operations, streamline client communication, and make appointment scheduling, business reporting, and payment processing easy for business owners of any size.
Vetter, founded in 2011 by Sagi Solomon, serves 1,400 vet practices with features that allow them to grow their businesses more effectively.
“We are passionate about providing a platform for veterinary practices that makes their lives easier and allows them to focus on their important roles as healthcare professionals,” says Solomon.
DaySmart was founded in 1999 and has been working with small businesses from the beginning. It is a privately held company headquartered in Ann Arbor and has been named in the Inc. 5000 list for the last 10 years. After the acquisition of AppointmentPlus in December 2020 and Opendock — two scheduling software platforms — the company began supporting medium and large-sized businesses.

The four platforms DaySmart offers are 123Pet for the pet care industry, Salon Iris for the beauty industry, Inkbook for tattoo businesses, and Orchid for spas. Partners include Intuit QuickBooks, Version 2.0 Communications, and ELO Touch Solutions.
