The Daxton Hotel in Birmingham has launched its own private label wine being served at the hotel’s restaurant Madam, and the Geode Bar & Lounge, the hotel’s geodesic dome bar in the lobby.

Daxton’s Chardonnay (2019) and Pinot Noir (2019) are crafted in Monterey County, Calif.

“We are thrilled to be unveiling our own private label wines, with a Chardonnay and Pinot Noir that will perfectly complement our culinary offerings and bring art to life within the hotel in a new way,” says Autumn Griffith, general manager of Daxton Hotel.

“For years, our guests have enjoyed exploring flavors and pairings through our extensive wine collection, and these two new wine options are the next unique offering we’re adding to the guest experience. This private line is a reflection of our commitment to providing exceptional service and exceeding expectations, one sip of the time.”

Chardonnay has a refreshing, fruit-forward wine with summery citrus, ripe honeydew melon and papaya notes, says Griffith. The wine is aged in stainless steel with delicate hints of honey and lemon peel. The Pinot Noir is barrel aged for 18 months.

This high-end private label wine is a hand-selected exclusive for Daxton, available by the glass and by the bottle.
