Grand Rapids-based Data Strategy, a datacenter consulting company with an office in Troy, today announced a partnership with boice.net, also a datacenter consulting firm, to create one of the largest firms of its kind in the Midwest.
“The strength of our new partnership will be an enhanced customer experience through solution integration and support,” says Dana Jacks, president of Data Strategy. “By working together within all of our geographies, we see great synergy to drive service breadth and market expansion.”
Under the terms of the agreement, both companies’ leadership teams will remain intact and the organizations will continue to operate as they do today. Jacks says the partnership will be focused on leveraging attributes of Data Strategy and boice.net that expand the capabilities of the other partner organizations in its local markets.
He says customers will benefit from expanded expertise in industries such as government, education, financial, health care, and retail. Customers also will have access to greater resources across all datacenter technologies and markets.
“We expect the boice.net customer base to benefit from economies of scale that the data strategy relationship brings,” says Bill Hall, CEO of boice.net. “At the same time, Data Strategy’s customers will benefit from key specialties of boice.net, like our network operations center.”
Data Strategy has 80 employees working in offices in Louisville, Indianapolis, Cincinnati, and Troy. Boice.net has 90 employees and offices in Louisville and Lexington.
