Wanting to have more direct contact with the growing job market in Detroit, Creative Circle, a national staffing agency with offices in Southfield, is relocating to the Chrysler House in downtown Detroit.

“We’ve been watching all of the great things happening downtown, and we want to be where the action is, so the move was an obvious choice,” says Derrick Bollin, city manager for Detroit’s Creative Center. “Being in the heart of Detroit will provide us the opportunity to network, introduce us to more talent, and allow us establish relationships with the types of client partners we want to work with.”

Bollin says Creative Circle caters to businesses of all sizes with advertising, design, marketing and interactive needs. He says as a specialized staffing agency, the company provides placement ranging from art directors and graphic designers to copy writers, and web developers.

“With the ability to fill freelance and full-time roles, the Detroit team is well-prepared to service the city’s growing job market,” Bollin says.

The new office, located in Chrysler House at 719 Griswold St., owned and managed by Bedrock Real Estate Services.

“We are thrilled to welcome another innovative, creative company to downtown Detroit,” says Dan Mullen, executive vice president of Bedrock Real Estate Services. “Our urban core is an inspiring, collaborative business environment for thinkers, doers and innovators. Creative Circle is a perfect addition and another example of a company moving its headquarters to the city to be part of the energy, excitement and endless opportunity.”

Since its founding in 2002, Los Angeles-based Creative Circle has placed hundreds of thousands of creative people nationwide. The company has offices in 25 major cities throughout the U.S. and Canada and 140 employees.
