Comcast Cable has completed a nearly $1 million investment in the expansion of its Comcast Business office and the remodeling of its Xfinity store in Midtown Detroit.

The company has expanded its Comcast Business suite by 1,500 square feet, making room for 20 new sales employees who will be closer to their customers.

“Our Detroit presence spans more than 40 years, and we’re continuously looking at ways we can improve the customer experience,” says Tim Collins, senior vice president of Comcast in Michigan. “We made this investment in our Midtown space with customer service in mind. We’re bringing more employees downtown to serve our residential and business customers, and we redesigned our store so that people who live and work in the area can rely on us as a one-stop shop for all their technology needs.”

Comcast’s Midtown Xfinity store, 3907 Woodward Ave., has been remodeled to incorporate all the latest Xfinity products and services. Xfinity Internet customers now can purchase Xfinity Mobile service, phones, and accessories at the Midtown store. This mobile phone service includes access to almost 19 million Wi-Fi hotspots across the nation, with thousands in the Detroit area.
