A new coffee shop concept is opening up in mid-May in Royal Oak that will offer individual private offices for rent along with workspaces, and a large event space. The newly renovated space will offer locally sourced coffee, pastries, and other food selections.
“The Office Coffee Shop provides a business hub where professionals in all industries can come to grab some coffee, hold a meeting, talk over lunch, put in a full day of work, or just take a break,” says Michael Keith, co-founder of the coffee shop.
The Office Coffee Shop, at the southwest corner of Lafayette and Fourth Street, will offer coffee and food from vendors such as Water Street Coffee Roaster in Kalamazoo, New York Bagel Baking Co in Ferndale, Holy Cannoli’s in Rochester, and Just Delicious Scones in Roseville.
“We’re also the only place in town that can offer you a private office for a meeting, a conference room, a printing center, an address to receive your mail, and great food made fresh locally when you’re hungry,” Keith says.
Three private offices are available for rent by the hour, along with a large training or event space that can hold up to 20 people, and a common area with individual work stations. Keith says there will be a monthly membership option for those who need onsite storage, mail service, or priority reservations, although a membership isn’t required to make a reservation for office space.
