A classic American steakhouse will open in late May at The Inn at Bay Harbor, featuring views of Lake Michigan and patio seating.

Vintage Chophouse & Wine Bar will feature modern interpretations of traditional steakhouse offerings, along with classic cocktails, martinis, and an extensive wine list. Ports and handcrafted desserts will also be on the menu. The restaurant also has an “upscale lounge.”

“We are fortunate to have a passionate crew of designers and carpenters hard at work on this exciting new dining destination,” says Ami Klykken, director of operations for The Inn at Bay Harbor. “(Vintage Chophouse & Wine Bar) is stylish and so are our local foodies and resort patrons.”

Vintage Chophouse will “reflect the elegance and glory of a bygone era,” but will also have modern details. The restaurant is now accepting reservations.

The Inn at Bay Harbor, opened in 1998, is known as being one of Northern Michigan’s more upscale resorts. The hotel, just outside of Petoskey, has 129 guest rooms, 45 holes of golf, a spa, and numerous other amenities.
