Clark Hill, a Detroit-based full-service legal and professional services firm, today announced it plans to merge with Morris, Polich, and Purdy (MPP), a firm with nearly 100 lawyers in California and Nevada.
The combined firms will operate under the name Clark Hill and the merger will take effect July 17.
With more than 450 attorneys and professionals at 16 offices in nine states and Washington, D.C., the deal will increase Clark Hill’s ability to serve clients nationwide and strengthens the firm’s depth of legal resources, especially in litigation.
“MPP mirrors Clark Hill’s values and puts client needs first. MPP has a distinguished reputation, an outstanding group of clients, and lawyers in important business centers — L.A., San Francisco, San Diego, and Las Vegas,” says John J. Hern Jr., CEO of Clark Hill.
“MPP’s local and national reputation for handling challenging, high-profile cases and their prestigious record will strengthen our firm and our commitment to client value and excellence.”
Clark Hill provides distinctive solutions to a diverse range of businesses, public entities, and individuals both nationally and internationally. More information about the firm can be found here.
