Chicane, downtown Plymouth’s newest restaurant, entertainment, and event venue, has opened at 885 Starkweather St. in the town’s historic Old Village.
Chicane, which features a bar overlooking railroad tracks and a dining room that can accommodate up to 150 guests, offers an elevated take on traditional American cuisine. Its menu boasts wood-grilled steaks, chops, and fresh seafood, complemented by handmade pasta and an “extensive” cocktail selection.
A tribute to the classic supper club, Chicane is the brainchild of longtime Plymouth Township resident Don Soenen, a business entrepreneur and community leader. Over the past three years, he has collaborated with a team of managers, chefs, and hospitality professionals to open the 10,000-square-foot space.
“Chicane redefines luxury dining in Plymouth, offering an immersive fusion of first-class cuisine, live entertainment, and top-tier special events hospitality,” says Soenen.
Chicane offers nightly entertainment, showcasing a diverse range of musical and entertainment styles, from Tuesday through Saturday, between 4-11 p.m.
The venue’s special events and banquet space includes a main room that seats up to 130 guests, along with an indoor/outdoor patio accommodating an additional 30 guests. These two spaces can be combined to host an array of personal and corporate gatherings, according to Chicane officials.
