Chicago’s VillageMD, a national primary care provider, Wednesday announced it has expanded into Michigan. The company aims to offer physicians the solutions and services they need to improve clinical outcomes, enhance patient and physician satisfaction, and lower the total cost of care.
Novi-based Envision Medical Group, which has more than 60 providers in nine metro-Detroit locations, will serve as VillageMD-Michigan’s flagship provider partner.

Practices using VillageMD will leverage its data analytics, physician-based care coordination, and on-the-ground support resources.
VillageMD’s clinical care model also helps its physician partners provide more personalized attention, education, and support to patients via integrated care teams of health coaches, diabetes educators, pharmacists, and resource coordinators to address patients’ medical, emotional, and social needs.
Provider partners also gain access to VillageMD’s docOS, a primary care-centered technology system that offers real-time access to actionable patient insights. The system extracts and analyzes patient clinical, financial, and payer data from practice management systems, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and socio-economic data sources across the care continuum.
