Chevrolet today unveiled the 2017 Chevrolet Colorado Shoreline, featuring bright exterior colors with black trim.

“The new Colorado ignited the midsize pickup market, accounting for 74 percent of the growth in the segment in 2015,” says Sandor Piszar, truck marketing director for Chevrolet. “These trucks have clearly resonated with customers, as last year our special edition trucks sold in one-third the time, and to younger, more affluent buyers than the industry average.”

Piszar says the package will be offered on Colorado extended cab models in LT trim, with both two-wheel-drive and four-wheel-drive versions. He says the Shoreline will be offered in metallic silver, white, blue, and red. Exterior changes include a body color front grill, black 18-inch wheels, and black trim for the door handles, mirrors, and beltline with minimal chrome accents. The Shoreline also includes a spray-in bedliner, all-weather floor liners, and one-year of Sirius XM radio subscription.

Piszar says the 2017 Colorado Shoreline is designed for California customers. He says California is the largest midsize pickup truck market, with more midsize trucks sold in Los Angeles than the next two largest markets combined.

The Shoreline joins a portfolio of Chevy special edition trucks including the Colorado Z71 Midnight, Colorado Trail Boss, Silverado Realtree, and Silverado Special Ops.
