Chevrolet has unveiled a special edition 2016 Silverado that features exterior and interior camouflage graphics and black 20-inch all-terrain tires. The Silverado Realtree Edition goes on sale in the spring.

“Personalized for the outdoorsman, this … very capable Silverado offers another choice for customers looking for a truck with style, capability, and dependability,” says Sandor Piszar, director of marketing for Chevrolet Trucks.

Piszar says the package is offered on Silverado 1500 LTZ Z71 crew cab models. The special edition truck was designed in collaboration with Realtree, a camouflage designer and marketer, and has the company’s logo embroidered on the front-seat headrests, black trim, black bow ties, off-road assist steps, and an off-road package with an underbody shield and monotube shocks, among other features.

The full-size Chevy Silverado features a V8 engine with 420 horsepower and 460 pounds per feet of torque. The 2016 Silverado has LED lighting, a steel body, and a new front-end design that has a more sculpted appearance than previous editions.

The truck offers smartphone integration with Chevrolet MyLink for hands-free messaging and navigation, 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity, and wireless phone charging.

Michigan native Kid Rock also collaborated with Chevy to create a customized 2016 Silverado 3500HD truck in November that features a custom chrome grille, chrome exhaust stacks, and patriotic graphics across the body sides.
