Chevrolet today introduced two new special editions of the 2016 Colorado pickup truck, one designed with off-road driving enhancements and the other with an all-black design theme.
“These are aggressive editions of one of the country’s hottest-selling trucks, demonstrating the personalization that’s possible with Chevrolet accessories, whether it’s for the street, trail, or both,” says Tony Johnson, marketing manager for the Chevrolet Colorado.
Johnson says the Colorado Midnight Edition is offered only in black, and the grille, the bowtie emblem, and the 18-inch aluminum wheels are also finished in black. The pickup truck also has a spray-on bedliner, soft-folding cover, and Chevrolet-logo sill plates in black. The truck is available with a 2.5 liter engine, a 3.6 liter engine, or the all-new 2.8 liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine.
The 2016 Colorado Z71 Trail Boss, designed for off-road driving, has an all-new sport bar with LED lighting, black-finished 17-inch aluminum wheels, all-terrain tires, a black bowtie grille emblem, and a spray-on bedliner. The truck will also be available with the 2.5 liter and 3.6 liter engines, as well as the 2.8 liter Duramax diesel.
The special editions will be available in showrooms this fall.
