To achieve Chevy’s benchmarks, the ZR2 Bison was engineered with segment-exclusive Mutlimatic front and jounce control dampers, an AEV heavy-duty winch capable front bumper, and AEV 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels with segment-exclusive 35-inch OD mud/terrain tires.

The vehicle also comes with a standard 2.7-liter turbo high-output powertrain, Mutlimatic Dynamic Suspensions Spool Valve (DSSV) dampers, a ground clearance of 12.2 inches, Chevy’s safety system with automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, and forward collision alert.

The ZR2 Bison comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission, four-wheel drive, and two-speed transfer case, and a maximum trailering capacity of 5,500 pounds.
