Prior to its scheduled Nov. 1 public debut at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Detroit-based Chevrolet has unveiled its newest concept vehicles, the Malibu and Cruze RS hatchback Blue Line.
Both styles in the Blue Line feature a Genesis White exterior, which changes from bright white to light gray in different lighting, blue-tinted windows, 18-inch concept wheels painted slate blue metallic, and a variety of personalization options.
“The Chevrolet Blue Line Series concepts integrate accessories that offer greater personalization choices for customers,” says Roger McCormack, director of accessories and performance parts marketing for Chevrolet. “Each vehicle wears production and concept accessories thematically linked under the Blue Line Series banner.”
Accessories for the Malibu Blue Line include a ground effects kit with a rear diffuser, a black grille insert, black Chevrolet bow tie emblems, a rear spoiler, floor liners with metal badging, illuminated doorsills, and a sport pedal kit.
A new suspension lowering kit is also available for the vehicle, which features springs that lower the ride height 0.4 inches. It is designed for models equipped with a 250 horsepower, 2.0L turbocharged engine.
The Cruze RS hatchback Blue Line is based on the company’s 2017 Cruze RS hatchback. Accessories available for the concept vehicle include a 153 horsepower 1.4-liter turbo engine, a black interior with custom satin graphite accents, a chrome grille insert, a suspension lowering kit, a performance brake package, a performance air intake system to prevent air restriction, a performance exhaust system, and more.
Blue Line concept vehicles will join 20 additional Chevrolet models at the SEMA Show, Nov. 1-4.
